| Here are a few fun conference ideas to try either before or after General Conference.
Make a Reverence Tent to sit in during conference - Great fun for kids and a way to liken the scriptures!
"Name that Apostle"
Play "Name that Apostle" by first discussing the apostles one by one. Use information from the spotlight links below. Then pass out a card for each apostle with their name, maybe a picture and a few unique specifics or just the apostle's name and ask them to recall what they remember from the discussion. Take turns drawing clues on the chalkboard until the correct apostle's name is guessed. You might mold clay instead of drawing, (like the game Cranium) or combine the two ideas.

Wacky Sentence
My primary child came home and told me about a wacky sentence they made up to help them remember the order of the quorum of the twelve apostles, as they now are. PPNOBWSHHBCC - I think it was "pepperoni pizza needs olives but we should have healthy bran caramel cookies". What other wacky sentences can you come up with? |
