I Am a Child of God bracelets Date: 12/03/2007
From: LuAnn
I was very excited to receive the envelope today of the bracelets that I ordered for our Primary children. They arrived in a very timely manner.

Hi..I wanted to share a poem that I wrote that can apply to each one of us YW and YW leaders...Enjoy and share if you would like to....Thanks..Deborah Finneran, Highlands Ward, YW Pres. The Snowflake The snowflake, so beautiful and refined Its divine sparkle, created by “The Master” of mine Christ is the Master of whom I speak He is “The Master” of you and me He creates the snowflakes in His own way Just as He creates each of us from day to day He cuts and snips and fashions His different grand designs Sometimes we’ll miss it, if we don’t stop to look or take our time But when we look, we’ll see the beauty that He creates We will marvel & wonder at the snowflakes He makes Remember, we are like His snowflakes too He cuts and snips at us & it often hurts it’s true Yet it’s so royal and splendid what He’s making out of us If we will just give Him the scissors & in His brilliance trust. We are meant to be cut, snipped, folded & continually refined Because once opened up, His glorious creations are all, we will find.   Modest Swimsuit Date: 03/04/2008
From: LDS Greats Editor
Turn your tankini into a one piece swimsuit, by adding swim wear fabric to connect the two pieces. You can also add pieces just about anywhere on a mostly modest tankini to improve it. Your one piece swimsuit is now suitable for girls camp and you won't worry about a thing!
  Using Meetinghouse Libraries Date: 08/28/2008
From: Christena
I wish that I had this resource available to me when I held some of my other church callings. Now I am the Ward Librarian; and would like to find some ways to help the Primary and Ward members to realize the wealth of resources available to all of them. There is so much that could help families as well as the other auxiliaries. I have several ideas; and would like to share one of them with you now and hope to kindle and receive ideas about others. I am a 'trash to treasures' person; and I hate to see all of the old (after 10 years) church magazines and church news papers just discarded. I hope to take the old magazines (especially 'The Friend') and remove pictures, games, Mormon ads, and picture stories; and put them into suitable 'quiet books' for the Primary children to use in Sacrament Meeting and at conference time. I have done a few of these (in pictures only) in another Ward about 18 years ago; and they still use them! They each had pictures of the 1st Presidency and a picture of the Savior when the book is first opened; and they each had their own theme as follows: 1. The life of the Savior: 2. The duties of the Priesthood: 3. The Temples and Families: This started with a young couple walking hand in hand toward a temple; and ended with a couple with children walking away from a Temple. 4. Service: Different ways we serve each other Those are the only ones I still remember! This time I will use sheet protectors and 3 ring binders instead of the static photo albums which are not holding up too well. I hope to get some mothers and some of the YW to help put these together; perhaps as a service project. They were kept in the Library and brought out just before the appropriate meetings.

A Saint is not someone who never fails, its one who gets up and goes on every time he falls.
Family Home Evening Organization Date: 01/05/2009
From: Teresa Crist
I have a vinyl business in Twin Falls Idaho and I have a unique home decor that helps the whole family in organizing the Family Home Evening. This can be purchased completed but what I would love to do is have some of the Relief Society Presidents contact me and make kits up for the ladies to put together themselves. No home should be without one of this beautiful and helpful home decor. I will look forward to hearing from all you ladies. Please email me @ dazzlemedesigns@hotmail.com
