GREAT IDEA:
While visiting my Grandfather, I discovered a service idea that returns a bit of dignity to our aging friends. He still wears button up shirts and the idea of something as necessary as a bib was a disappointment to him. His sister-in-law bought a large bandana or handkerchief (any color) and sewed a button hole in one corner. Men can attach the bandana to their top button to serve as a shield for their shirt. After the meal it is easy to remove and tuck into a pocket.
GREAT IDEA:
Women can volunteer to read to children who are in the hospital. Work through your local hospital's volunteer coordinator. Bring a smile and a story to a child today.
